How 3 Card Poker Works

If you have never played Multi-hand 3 Card Poker before, the good news is that the game is really easy to learn. The game consists of a single poker table with five betting areas for multiple hands. The dealer is located at the top of the table and the player at the bottom.

Each betting area has three separate betting options including the ante bet, the play bet and the pair plus bet. To get started, the first step is to place the ante bet. This is the standard minimum bet that must be placed in order to proceed with the round.

The Three Betting Options

In Multi-hand 3 Card Poker, you can choose to play a single hand or up to five hands at once. All of the hands will face off against the dealer’s single hand. Once you have placed the ante bet, you then have the option of placing a second bet called a pairs plus bet. This bet only pays out if the three card hand contains a pair or higher. Once you have placed the ante bet and possibly the pair plus bet, you can click on the deal button located at the bottom of the screen. The dealer will then deal you three cards face up.

The aim of Multi-hand 3 Card Poker is to create the highest possible poker hand with the three cards. In this game, the dealer must qualify with a queen or higher. After reviewing your cards, you can either choose to keep playing and place a play bet or fold and forfeit your ante bet. If continue playing, the play bet will be the same amount as your ante bet. If you have placed a pair plus bet and no pairs appear, you will lose the pair plus bet.

Poker Payouts

In Multi-hand 3 Card Poker, the ante and play bet will pay out even money for any winning hand combination from a high card up to a straight. Three of a kind will pay out 4:1 and a straight flush will pay out 5:1. If the dealer does not qualify you will be paid out for the ante bet but the play bet is a push. The pair plus bet pays out the most with a whopping 40:1 for a straight flush!
