Proteins carry many calories though, so if you have somewhat of a sedentary lifestyle, you’ll want to watch how much meat, cheese and nuts you consume. You don’t need to eat meat with every meal, but when you do, make sure it’s high quality – grass-fed beef, lean fish or free-range poultry.
