How Bonus Poker Deluxe Works
In Bonus Poker a higher payout is given to any 4 of a Kind hand, but more is paid to Aces than any other combination, and more is paid to 4 2s, 3s or 4s than 4 5s or 4 of anything higher. In Bonus Poker Deluxe, a single big amount is paid for any 4 of a kind hand. The only hand that gives higher returns is a Royal Flush.
Essentially, then, Bonus Poker Deluxe plays out in exactly the same way as the original Jacks or Better Video Poker game with 2 key differences: 4 of a Kind hands pay out much more, and to accommodate this a hand of 2 Pairs pays out a lot less. Rather than a 2:1 return a hand of 2 Pairs pays out even money, and since this hand comes up about 10% of the time this adds a lot of volatility to the game.
Of course, the highs and lows of Bonus Poker Deluxe make it very exciting to play too! It’s a good choice when you want something a little more advanced than Jacks or Better, but don’t feel like getting too complicated.
